PointShift Cell Location API
Organisations have long understood the need to optimise the use of their assets in the search for improved efficiency and reduced costs.
Location checks for mobile phones located in cities can be as close as 100
metres. In rural areas the accuracy can decrease to several kilometres in
some cases, depending on the range of the network.
Authorised users of the CellSearch Location API can programmatically submit
positioning requests for a specified mobile number via a custom application
using TCP/IP and Internet protocols. This is accomplished by using the HTTP
protocol to submit an XML packet containing the relevant data structure to the
PointShift Cell Location Services gateway servers.
